God Reveals Himself By Sending Christ Into The World!

You cannot find a greater love for mortal man than that which was shown on Calvary. Jesus gave His life for us, God gave His only Begotten for us. No, you will never find a greater love given for a more unworthy mass than the terrible day of Calvary.

It is really a blessing beyond measure to think that before we ever fell from God’s grace, He provided a way back for the vilest offender. It was before any of us were created that Jesus’ destiny was to wear thorns, wounds and reproach for the underserving

”For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly … 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:6, 8).

“but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. 20 He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you” (1 Peter 1:19–20)

Jesus was not created as a savior for mankind. He was always God (John 1:1-3; Hebrews 1:3). No instead Jesus condescended and took upon himself the form of man (Philippians 2:6-8). It was His position of all loving God that led Him to go through those terrible years upon this earth only to be rejected by most. Yet He still came calling us with loving bands of mercy and kindness.

I would love to tell you what I think of Jesus,
Since I found in Him a friend so strong and true.
I would tell you how He changed my life completely;
He did something no other friend could do.

All my life was full of sin when Jesus found me;
All my heart was full of misery and woe,
Jesus placed His strong arms about me
And He led me in the way I ought to go.

Ev’ry day He comes to me with new assurance;
More and more I understand His word of love.
But I’ll never know just why He came to save me,
Till someday I see His blessed face above.

No one ever cared for me like Jesus;
There’s no other friend so kind as He.
No one else could take the sin and darkness from me
O how much He cared for me.

Charles Weigle 1932

Our God only wants what is best for all of us. There is nothing here in this world that holds the joys God is treasuring for His children in heaven. Turn now to the Lord and follow Him.
